to social media
In the current economic climate the voice of local communities can
often be lost and engagement with the public sector can be a difficult
task.
Yet there are many examples of best practice around the region and
across Europe showing how the local communities have either taken their
own initiative or developed new ideas in making their voice heard.
There will be two case studies:
Peter Reed-Forrester, MD of CommunityUK.net who will highlight how his
organisation will use their unique "Community Networking" initiative to
drive sustainable regeneration in communities across the UK.
Katleen Vermeiren, MANUS Project who will highlight how local
people have worked with local government in Belgium to create job
opportunities in true partnership. For more information or to reserve your place, please call 023 8076 8833
