Tips to top reconciliation: work it out and home it in…por una conciliacion compartida also known as the third PEOPLE International Conference organised by the Ministry for Equality and Social Welfare of the Regional Government of Andalusia (Junta de Andalucia). The Conference, which gathered together 75 female and 39 male participants, intended to raise awareness about the need to implement measures for the reconciliation of personal, family and professional life of women and men as a means of harmonizing the labour availability of both genders, taking into consideration the fact that women make up half the work-force and can contribute in an essential way to growth, employment and social cohesion in the European Union.
Study visit on Reconciliation of Work and Private Life

A study visit on the 13th of October was organised to make highlight to the regional partners of PEOPLE successful experiences in Andalusia in the field of reconciliation.
Forty-three regional experts (thirty-one women and twelve men) were in direct contact with the management of these experiences and could further share their expertise and knowledge during the open debate sessions.

Krakow Study Visit and Exchange of Experience

On the 8th and 9th November 2010, the Regional Minister for Equality and Social Welfare, Mrs. Micaela Navarro, the most senior officer for the European project PEOPLE - Innovation for a Societal Change - (INTERREG IVC Programme), held several meetings with Malopolska policy makers in Poland.
PEOPLE subproject spotlight: DIVERSIA

The DIVERSIA subproject was selected in the field of sub-objective number 1 of PEOPLE, which deals with issues relating to the reconciliation of work and private life. Out of the project, a cross-European research into balancing private and professional life in the context of family networks has been developed.
